all the way from norway {family photography, vancouver bc}

I was so excited about this session. SO excited!! Atle, Kate and little Ida came all the way from Norway for their session. Just for their session. Haha, no, Kate has family in Vancouver that they were coming out to visit, so when Kate contacted me to make this session a part of their time out here, I was thrilled and honored! And I had such a fabulous time with these three, I only wish they lived closer:o)

They were staying at the gorgeous Sutton Place Hotel, so we met there before heading out to Stanley Park on a beautiful day for their photos. Meet beautiful baby Ida (Ee-da):

One cute little baby, I tell you, and with a darling little personality to match! I have to tell you, with these international sessions, I feel the pressure! I feel that they are taking time out from all the people that want to see them, and all the things they hope to accomplish on their holiday to spend it with me and my camera so…I had better get some fabulous shots!! Which leads to me taking a tonne of pictures, and having a hard time narrowing them down! So get ready for a lot of pictures! If you come half way around the world to me, then you are getting a big blog post!!:o)

After enjoying the grass and shade for a bit, we headed down to the sunny beach. I love the beach.

After a few attempts at eating sand we decided to head back up to the grass where I told them to just hang out, to be together. They were pretty good at that without me telling them to as well. This little lady gets a lot of love and snuggles from her adoring parents. Her daddy told me that he thinks he’d like 10 kids. I’m pretty sure they could handle it:o) especially if they have more like Ida.

Kate and Atle, is was so great to meet you!! I am so honored to have been a part of your time in Vancouver. This year I have quite a few sessions with families out from different part of the States and Canada, but I am amazed that I have had clients from Hong Kong and Norway now to add to my list! Thank-you for this great honor! (And now if you would just show all your friends and family in Norway your photos and convince them to get me a ticket to Norway to do all their photos:o) I would be even happier! Haha!) Thank-you, thank-you, I hope you love your images!! There are many, I will get your gallery up very soon!!! I’ll leave you with two last photos of your sweet, and very photogenic, baby girl.
