Don’t get me wrong, I am thoroughly enjoying a little down time! But I am starting to feel the need to get out there and shoot something. Photographically speaking, of course. I need to take pictures!! I think it’s partly all this dreary, cold, wet weather we’ve been having. It feels like so long since I have been in the great outdoors, camera in hand, and my new camera is itching to be used! So, for those of you who have booked, especially this weekend
)!! Look out, we’re going to have some fun. (now if the weather will just cooperate with us!)
Okay, enough rambling, on with some photos!! Remember this maternity session, mere days from her due date? Well, not long thereafter, sweet baby Ayden made his appearance, and boy! is he a cutie!!
He was a hungry boy during our session! We did manage to get some sweet sleepy moments in between feeds though. I was so impressed with his mom and dad. They had lots of blankets that I loved (especially the above) we may notice it in a few more shots!) And his room had the most amazing hand painted tree on it. I wish I had gotten a photo of it. It was impressive.

These two were made to be parents. They were so at ease with him. Even with some fussing during our session, which can really stress new mommies out, they weren’t. And you could tell he already knows who his parents are and wanted to be snuggled close. They are such a sweet family. The new family of three.
And again, these photos were taken just before Christmas, so we had to take a few Christmas-y photos. These were my favorites, after all, has there ever been a better gift than a baby?
A couple more of this sweet baby boy, and then I’m off to enjoy my last few days “off”. And then I’ll slowly work my way back. Come on spring!! I’m waiting for you!!
