This is the last of my pre-vacation posts. And that great, caught up feeling I had? It’s gone now, and I’m buried under a pile of pictures now, but oh, there are some fabulous photos!! I can’t wait to show you all what I have been up to this week

But before those, I have some exceptionally cute kids to show you. These three adorable children (and their mom) met up with me on the hottest day of our summer, and we still managed to pull off some great shots!
They were in town visiting family (from one of my favorite cities in the world – New York, New York!!) and I felt very honored to be asked to take some photos. We decided to meet up nice and early to beat the heat, and we were already melting five minutes in. But these kids were troopers, especially this smiley, happy, sweet girl:

After the kids had had enough of the sun, we headed off in search of some cool shade to linger in where we got some great individual shots of all three.

The mommy of these three beauties was also a friend of mine that I haven’t seen in years, and once again, it was great to get a chance to do a little catching up. Now, it’s not always easy to get three kids all to cooperate, and want to be in the same place, at the same time, or all looking in the same direction at the same time, and when you combine that with jet lag, extreme heat and missed naps, you might be able to imagine some of our morning. But after some convincing (and some bribery cookies) we managed to get them all together and even laughing along with mom and I. Here are a last couple, and a couple of my favorites to be honest:
