This sweet sleepy boy was absolute perfection for his first session. I was only too happy to meet back up with his parents and hear all about his home birth. I am so in awe of people who are brave enough to have home births. I admit to having way too much anxiety in general to have tried it myself, so I love to hear the stories of these brave mommas. (let alone for first births, being brave enough to forgo the drugs, haha.) Anyways, this little guy arrived safe and sound and is being just smothered in love by his adoring new parents. And I had the pleasure of capturing this new family on one of their early days together.
Yes, I know, he is one adorable newborn. And he didn’t make a peep. I think this was my second fastest newborn session ever, because he was just up for anything and so content! I love when that happens, but let me tell you, it is not very often, especially not with first babies. And I even got to use my boy monkey hat again. I have to say, the first half of the year I had almost all girl newborns to photograph, and now every session I have booked have been boys. Funny how that happens. (and always right when I get the cutest things for the opposite sex.) But pictures speak louder than words, so I will let the photos do the talking…
Remember their first “baby”? Well we had to get her in on a few photos. She’s been very good with this new little man, but doesn’t want to stay too far from wherever mom and dad are. I thought it was so cute how she was never much more than an arm’s length away.
Congratulations again you guys! He is just beautiful!! (and thanks for the excuse to spend a family day at Kits’ pool. We fabulous day!) I will have your gallery up in the next couple of days, and then I’m really on vacation. Well, almost ;o)
