) So I literally laugh out loud every time I look at their jumping pictures. And this one is definitely my favorite.
I love summer. I think I live for it most of the year. But then it comes and it is crazy busy with a million fun things to do and people to see and I can’t quite seem to keep up with it. I am really trying to just enjoy it and spend as much time as possible with my kids. It has been fabulous, we have conquered camping and potty training and motorcycle rides and many a different sporting event. And summer isn’t even half over!! But, on top of all that, I have had quite a few fabulous sessions with some awesome families that I have loved getting to know.
This family is a little different, in that I already know them quite well. If you know me, you likely know my sister. Her mom-in-law contacted me a while back to get some family shots. Now, I know, I don’t do extended families. I just don’t (except when I do) but, it was my sister’s extended family, so I agreed. (I should admit now that I have one more extended family still coming up this year, but they are also family, and that’s it. No one else is talking me into it, haha, just thought I should clarify, for those of you who have asked) And it was a great afternoon. They have the most beautiful property and I always welcome opportunities to hang out with my sister and her little beauties)
First I thought I should introduce you to the original family), Steve, Diane, and their “boys”, Steve and Nathan:
I love how they started out so boy-ish, and now the girls seem to have almost taken over. These two started it all a, ahem, few years back)
Next came Tammi. These two love birds have been together for 13 years now. And I think they just get hotter over time, don’t you think?
And then these girls, these sweet beautiful girls whom I adore more than words could ever express. Just so you know, I was trying to limit my sister’s family on this post as they have a fall session booked where I will gush all over them and post half a million pictures of each darling little lady. But in the end, I couldn’t help myself, I just loved too many photos, so here they are, my other children, my “girls”. Love them, LOVE them.
See? The girls are taking over!! And now, now there’s Rahel. The stunning soon-to-be wife of Nathan. The one who managed capture his heart). The countdown is on until their wedding and it sounds like it will be a beautiful and super fun event! I can’t wait to see the pictures and hear all about it. Especially their flower girls)

Now it will be interesting to see if there will end out being all girls grandbabies, or if a boy or two might get thrown into the mix, you know, eventually ;o).
