in the grassy fields {family photography, langley bc}

This is another family that I had been in talks with for a while to do a family session and we had to just keep on waiting for the weather to cooperate. But finally, we got the prefect day. The weather was great, the sun was shining, the birds were singing, the grass was being mowed. *Sigh* …the grass was being mowed. And all three males in this family have allergies. It would almost be comical, if I didn’t feel bad for them. However, the boys were total troopers and plowed through our session, sometimes even with a smile)

Even though they were being tortured with scratchy eyes, these boys were such nice boys. Whenever I photograph kids that are older than mine are I always feel like I have to figure them out a bit first. I don’t know what they’re into or how they relate to each other. Of course I feel that way a bit with all kids, as mine are definitely not the rule. But, you know, the older kids get, the cooler they get. (and likely the less cool I get). But when they are boys like these, I am so impressed, and encouraged. These two are great guys, I could easily tell.

Thanks again you guys!! I’m glad we could finally make it work, and that we did it before your the craziness of summer set in! I hope your allergies subsided by the time you got home! Next time we’ll have to find an urban location!! No grass, or trees)
