I was so excited to get together with this sweet couple for their maternity session. And it was a perfect day for it! One thing I love when I do sessions is watching my clients grow comfortable with the the camera and with me throughout our session. When we first meet there is sort of a nervous energy. I understand that sitting in front of a camera can make people nervous, but I love watching the transformation.
) Julie and Erwin were one of these couples. At first they kept laughing and telling me they didn’t know what to do, and by the ending they were just enjoying themselves, forgetting about me, and sometimes even workin’ it for the camera. I was loving it!
We met up in Stanley Park. Have I mentioned how much I love Stanley Park?! It is just so beautiful there and there are so many great spots. And these two were up for anything. I loved getting to know this great couple, hearing of their travels to Italy, and their excitement over this coming baby. I can’t wait to meet this little one.
We headed down to the beach next. It was a bright day, but we still managed to get some great shots.
After a few last sweet shots of Julie in the flower filled grass, we were ready to call it a day. I went home happy for a sunny (finally!!!) day at the beach with some wonderful people.

I have finished the “shooting” portion of tons of sessions, now on to the editing and emailing.
