I just love those shots. Maybe it’s the graffiti-ish thing goin’ on (you know, the chalked heart on the cement wall) that makes me love them. I don’t know, but I do. I met this lovely couple at Rocky Point Park in Port Moody to do their maternity session. They are eagerly anticipating the arrival of their first baby very soon. I love meeting up with maternity clients, because even when we haven’t met, it’s not too difficult to figure out who I’m looking for by looking for a belly.
) Deana definitely has that glow about her as well, and it was great fun to spend time with these two, and I think we got some great shots! Here are a few:

This next shot is one of my favorites of the day. I admit to being a color person. I just love color, which is funny considering I started out as an only black and white photographer. But in this digital age we live in, I just love color. So when people ask me what to wear, I say, something colorful, bright even. It just pops the picture for me. That being said, I think the reason I love this picture, well there’s a lot of reasons, but I think it’s partly just the pop of blue the fence adds. And the way all the colors combine. (even if we did have an audience for these ones, right guys?) Isn’t color great?!

A couple more of the mom and dad to be:

Okay, one last shot of this beautiful baby belly

I love doing maternity shoots. I’m sure I have mentioned this before, but I just do. So thank you Deana and Todd, for the honor of spending time with you and taking pictures of the two of you at this exciting time! I can’t wait to meet your little one! Enjoy this last little bit where it’s just you two. Go out lots, and see movies at the theatre, and all the other things that will soon not be so easy! Can’t wait to hear the news!!
