Hello!!! Yes, I am still alive! I updated my facebook fan page, but neglected my dear blog. I had some computer issues, and the poor thing had do be sent off to be fixed. What I thought would take a few days, took more than two long weeks. But this evening we were joyfully reunited and have been spending some quality time getting reacquainted this evening. I think I have caught up on emails, so if you are waiting to hear from me, shoot me another email just to be sure

Thank you all for your patience with my lack of posts, and delayed email responses, and especially for the understanding clients who I had to reschedule sessions with this week due to the stomach flu taking over our house. You guys are the best. Seriously.
And, to try and make it up to you, I thought I would post some pictures of sweet little Mikyela’s newborn session. (I don’t even want to think about how much she has grown and changed since our session ;o) Here she is:
Now, I have always been someone who gets confused by family connections. You know, first cousins, second cousins, third cousins once removed. What??? I don’t know. But this little lady is my husband’s cousin’s little one. What does that make her to me? Me to her? I’ll just say I’m auntie Carmen, cause I love being an auntie. Regardless, she is the newest member to this sweet foursome, and was a dream baby for our time together.
Her big sister is pretty excited about her! She may not have wanted to hold her for too long) but she also didn’t want to get too far away. (‘course, I may have been in front of the TV for a part of the time.)
Her parents are rather taken with her too. I didn’t get nearly enough snuggle time at this session! ;o) Don’t worry, I’ll make up for that!
See? She was a doll. I love second babies. They just seem to be more chill. And I was a second baby. Second babies are awesome.
