seven {child photography, langley bc}

So here it is. Remember I mentioned my son turned seven and we got out to get a few shots of him? Well here they are! But first, I have to tell you a little about him. He is my firstborn. I think I always find his birthday a little more sentimental than my other two’s birthdays. I think because he made me a mom. Whenever the weather turns crisp and foggy and fall-ish I go back to the fall he was in my belly. He changed my world. He made it not about me anymore. I fell in love. In an instant. A love so deep I will never find my way back.

I can’t lie, he can be a handful. He’s a seven year old boy:o) He loves to make people laugh, and entertain everyone. Which can get him into trouble, and it often does:o). But it can also crack me up, and others around him. He is so smart. I am far from the perfect mother but he has taught me so much. About life, about love, about family. I could go on, and on, and on, and well, you get the idea, about him. How well he reads and spells, what a fabulous big brother he is, how compassionate he is, but you would expect all that because I am a mom, perfect or no. He is remarkable and adorable, and I am so proud of him, proud to be his mom. Thankful to be his mom.

This kid melts me. l-c_u

Cheesy grins, funny faces, forgetting to flush the toilet, messy room, fit-thrower and all…melts. me.

And this last photo. Just so him.

I’m a blessed lady. I know it:o) And he’s cute to boot, no? ;o) (and thanks for once again humoring my mommy pride!)

Pauline - Carmen,
Just want to tell you, that I am crying right now as i view and read this spread of L. It is true what you say about your first born. There is something significant and special about the first born. L is beautiful and I don’t just mean aesthetically (although I have to say he is a stunner!)he has a powerful aura and life has lots of great things in store for him. You are an amazing person and mother as it comes through so well in your photography and website. Your children are extremely blessed to have you as their mom!! Thanks for touching my heart.
Pauline
